Margeaux remains in her current home:
My daughter bought her home as a 10 week old kitten from her friend. At the time I was a little unsure about giving her a home due to my group of old cats, but we decided to give it a go anyway. She settled in very well and was accepted, clean and cuddly. As she grew she became to boisterous for the older cats and they often have to fend her off as she tries to play fight, and they really don’t like it.
I think a little companion might be good for her? She loves our cockerpoo dog and when she has got to know another dog would be firm friends.
She really enjoys being outside in the garden but doesn’t leave the garden. She loves chasing the leaves in the garden, or chase toys if we play with her. She is very comfortable about coming for a cuddle and loves having her tummy and chin ticked when outside, but can be a bit standoffish inside – we have no idea why and wonder if it’s because I tell her off for jumping on the older ones.
She eats a mix of bone broth, dry and wet food. We have also started to feed ‘Katkins’ freshly prepared food lately and she really likes this. She loves her food and puts on a lot of weight over the winter and became a little Roly poly, but slims off again a bit in the summer. I can’t think of anything she doesn’t like apart from seems to prefer being outdoors, but doesn’t leave the garden so we give her outside cat beds that she uses and would struggle with a busy road as is not used to cars. She doesn’t wear a collar, but is microchipped (I’d have to find the paperwork!) she likes to have a brush and will sit on your lap in the winter months. She has been insured with ‘Many pets’ since she was a ktten and we have no made any claims as she has a good bill of health.
