Mikayla
Age: Approx. 18 Months | Colour: Black
Mikayla is an incredibly gentle young cat who has overcome a difficult start in life and is now ready to find the loving forever home she truly deserves.
Mikayla came into foster care with her sister, Maggie, in what was expected to be a short stay. However, six months later, she is still patiently waiting for a family to call her own. Mikayla and Maggie had been left behind by their previous owner and had spent time fending for themselves outdoors. It was only after arriving in foster care that it became apparent that Mikayla was pregnant – at only around a year old, she was still very much a kitten herself.
Despite her young age, Mikayla proved to be a wonderful and attentive mum, raising her kittens with dedication and love. Now that her kittens are growing up and finding homes of their own, it is finally Mikayla's turn to be someone's much-loved pet.
Mikayla has a beautifully gentle nature and, throughout her time in foster care, has never once bitten or scratched any member of her foster family. She is a sweet, kind-hearted girl who enjoys human company and has a particular weakness for treats, making her very easy to win over.
Having previously spent time living outdoors, Mikayla is desperate to get back to exploring and would love a home where she will have safe outdoor access once she has settled in.
Mikayla can be adopted alongside her remaining kitten, Luigi, or with her sister, Maggie, with whom she has rebuilt a lovely bond. However, she would also be happy being adopted on her own into a loving home.
After raising her kittens so devotedly, Mikayla deserves a family who will give her all the love, comfort and security she has always deserved.
