Nala is a gentle, loving companion with a playful side. She enjoys affection but also values her independence, making her a wonderful pet for someone who understands cat boundaries.
Personality: Playful and curious, sometimes shy, especially in new environment / with new people – guests, she’s affectionate but prefers short cuddle sessions rather than long ones. She will come to you when she wants attention and enjoys clam, predictable surroundings. She will also come out when she’s been called (most times but not always) and you can then cuddle her, short journeys are usually okay.
Likes: Being brushed, clean litter tray, homegrown grass, Playing with laser toy & string-type toy, going inside cardboard boxes, fish flavoured treats, watching the outside from window or patio door, lovers her floor to ceiling cat tree with scratching post, sleeping on bed (not cat bed – always sleeps next to the me), or sleep on sofa and chairs.
Dislikes: Dirty litter tray, loud noise, hoover/vacuum sounds, cat collars (with or without bell) toys that makes noise (bells) traditional cat beds (she prefers human furniture), long journeys (sometimes she would vomit or poop), doesn’t like water (no full bath) but if she gets dirty she can be cleaned with wipes then water (but just the bottom where she is dirty), going inside her cat carrier,
Grooming & Maintenance: Due to long hair Nala needs regular care, Daily brush, occasional trimming around the bottom area to keep her clean, Produce hairballs occasionally – provide cat grass and hairball treats to help.
What Nala needs: Nala would thrive in a home that is: Clam and quiet, Patient and understanding, Pet-free, Willing to maintain her grooming routine, Able to give her both affection and space. Ideally able to provide a secure Catio or safe enclosed outdoor viewing space. Behaviour &
Ideal Home: Needs to be the Only pet in the household, Can live with children but Prefer gentle, clam interaction, does not like being chased, Doesn’t enjoy being held for long. She has grown up with a gentle child and does well in a clam, respectful environment.
Diet: Eats both dry and wet food Nala is beautiful, gentle soul who deserves a loving home where she can feel safe and comfortable.
