Pickle:
Pickle is a bit shy when you first meet her, and may hide – she doesn’t like sudden movements or loud noises. But once she gets to know you she is an adorable little cat.
She is extremely affectionate and loves to sit on your knee and be brushed or stroked. She has a very loud purr! She will head butt your hand to demand cuddles, especially from willing guests. When she’s not being fussed, she likes a wander in the garden, although she tends not to go far. She loves sunbathing (or a nice hearth rug in Winter).
During the day she likes to snooze in her cat basket or under a blanket on the bed. She would love a quiet home with some company during the day, as she can get a bit lonely when left. But she is very well behaved – even the vet comments on how calm she is, even when being examined.
And she is in excellent health – she still likes to play with bits of string or a cat toy, and goes crazy for catnip! She would come with all her favourite foods, cat basket, litter tray, cat bed and toys. She is very loved by her current owner but due to ill health and living in a care home, she cannot manage Pickle any more. While she is sad, she wants Pickle to find a home where she can go outside and have the fuss and care she deserves.
