Mabel:
Mabel is quite an old lady now, at 17 years old, though she's only the size of a large kitten.. Many years ago, she was adopted by a family. It didn't work out well, though, as when she was younger she had a tendency to bite. She was returned to the care of the charity and eventually became a sponsor cat. Nowadays, she's much more amenable-she's friendly, and enjoys a stroke. She'll reward you with a loud, deep-throated purr. She really enjoys her food, though likes to be fed separately from the other cats in the household. She's very possessive about her dish! It would be unkind to rehome her now as she's been with her fosterer for so long, and she has obviously had some psychological problems in the past. She's happy and settled where she is, and we hope she'll have lots of sponsors to help out with the cost of her everyday care.
